Sarah's Candles is a family owned and operated business.

What started as a simple Mother's Day candle project quickly turned into a fascinating candle hobby. Our candle loving friends and family began commenting about how our jar candles smelled great and burned so much better than the "Big" companies that soon we could not keep up with their demand for our jar candles.

Gradually we expanded our equipment. And studied the science of candle making, you can't just pour wax into a jar, put in a wick and expect a great candle! So now, although each and every candle is hand poured with great care and attention to detail, we have become a "Mom and Pop" store that utilizes production equipment. This provides the best of both worlds, our customers get great smelling, long lasting, hand poured candles, and we are able to produce them more efficiently and consistent.
 
We take great pride in providing the finest candles on the market. We do not follow a "standard" formula for our candles. We use the maximum amount of fragrance possible. And we use the highest quality waxes available. Our candles smell the same from top to bottom. Open one of those expensive candles from the "big" companies and you can see the fragrance oil sitting there on top. Guess what happens once that burns off?  We test every combination of wax, wicks, scents, and containers to be sure you get the best smelling, longest lasting candle possible.
